TES Annual Report
German Section Wellbeing and pastoral care are important building blocks of our educational work in the German Section. We ask our learners weekly in the PULS survey about their sensitivities and opinions on current issues. We are particularly proud of our new BLU concept, a peer-to-peer support system, which aims to enable learners to moderate conflicts between students or even teachers. We have given the BLU team mediation training to equip them with the necessary tools for this challenge. In addition, liaison teachers, class teachers, and cross-sectional counselling support learners further. British Secondary and High School Section Each week our students take the Pulse survey on how they are feeling, and this gives our year deans valuable information on the general climate of the school and whether any students are struggling. Conversations on individual wellbeing take place in extended one-to-one interviews with staff after students take their twice-yearly Assessment in Wellbeing Education (AWE) survey. This allows us to help students at a deeper level.
