In the British Secondary and High School, Design has grown into a dynamic and engaging area of learning for our middle school students. Over the past four years, it has evolved into a space where creativity, innova tion, and real-world problem-solving come together, empowering students to see themselves not just as learners but as designers capable of making a genuine impact. Throughout their MYP Design journey, students have engaged in a wide range of projects that challenge them to think creatively and act purposefully. Rather than focusing on isolated skills, Design has immersed

students in authentic experiences where ideas are ex plored, tested, and brought to life using a wide range of tools, materials, and processes. Students take on a variety of real-world roles throughout their projects, working as fashion and textiles designers, digital and graphic designers, product designers, engineers, and computer coders, allowing them to explore different disciplines while understanding how diverse design fields connect and collaborate in the real world. The diversity of materials and equipment students have worked with, each offering unique properties and possibilities, has further enriched this experience.
