The atmosphere was buzzing as the evening got un derway, with background music provided by High School students from the DJ CCA. Mr Nixon, in his final TES Gala, and who was at the very first Gala in 2006, thanked the Gala committee for their amazing effort to pull together this event for the TES community.

Finally, the dance floor opened for business as the evening’s Live Band played songs across a range of popular genres, which ensured the dance floor was full for the rest of the evening. If you have yet to attend a TES Gala, make a point of doing so next year, as once it is over, you will be eager for the next one!

We had some wonderful live music provided during the meal, as High School Rock bands ‘The Lopsiders’ and ‘Infernal Sweeper’ impressed the audience with some classic rock songs. The meal was of the high est quality, an amazing buffet spread and with main course served to the tables. With some lovely wine to accompany the fine food, the diners were ready to win some great raffle prizes.
